Research interest: Investigation of purinergic dysregulation of neurogenesis and neural development within the hippocampus in Fragile X Syndrome
Outside of the lab: Matt’s nights consist of a mix of playing with his kids, TV with his wife, playing guitar or drums, and/or a basketball game in a men’s league.
Isaac Sullivan, PhD Candidate
Research interest: Determination of the role of P2Y2 in injury-induced neurogenesis in the adult Danio rerio CNS
Outside of the lab: Isaac is the father of 3 young children, and husband to an incredibly patient wife. He spends most of his “free” time wrestling his children, playing video games, and reading.

Research interest: Correction of glial-mediated purinergic signaling in Fragile X Syndrome
Outside of the lab: Mavis likes to be active and go on adventures. She loves working part time as a kindergarten-high school tutor. She also likes to spend time with her cat Ragetti by cuddling and watching the hustle and bustle outside their big window.
